Let us give you a little insight to helping build your confidence in properly caring for your puppy. Not politically correct... Learning from experience.
First, a good rule of thumb is to mimic what the breeder does. They have properly cared for your baby from birth until time for him to go home, they did everything right. As long as they are not a new breeder still in the learning stage, you should get some good advice. A seasoned breeder will be past the trial and error stage, and can guide you in caring for your puppy into adulthood. Stay in contact with your breeder and make sure that you ask all the questions necessary to feel confident your on the right path.
