TIG

We have a very small, closed, disease free herd.
Vaccinating and parasite treatment only as needed.
Our animals are raise with No antibiotics, No hormones, and free range pasture, offering hay and protein in the off season if needed. We feel that if an animal needs excessive help to be sustained or grow properly, you will not produce consistent viable offspring. * Less Is More... Natural grazing ability produces the healthiest animals.

Miniature Jersey is one of our two favorite breeds of cattle that we have had the pleasure of owning for decades. Two very different bovine types and personality traits. We love both, even the cross has its charm.
Our breeding goals are small and medium boned, Calving ease, gentle personalities, and natural thriving ability on pasture grazing.
Miniature Livestock will always be the best way to go for a small homestead. Saving space and feed, with less pasture and freezer space needed. Also easier handling for every member of your family.
They have been the perfect addition to our lives for many many years. Let us share with you the wonders of living with Miniature livestock!
Miniature Zebu - An imported Heritage breed that has good survive-ability and a gentle temperament. They are easy on fences and are NOT destructive or escape artists. This breed requires smaller amounts of food to sustain, and calve easily. ** Humps start out small, and grow as the animal matures making it easy to tell their age. Small stocky stature is our goal, not necessarily mega tiny. Healthy, and calving ease are most important.
Their personalities are a bit aloof if not trained as calves, but they are very content. This breed is typically who you see in petting zoos. Their petite size ranges from 34"-38" tall on average, average wt from 275 to 600lb. Less pasture required is a bonus over many other miniature breeds.
Our favorite cross is the miniature Zebu and the mini Jersey. Easy going personality, content, and less feed requirement.
