 We are involved in schnauzer rescue and also take in unwanted small breed dogs and puppies.  And will be willing to help place dogs in new homes from people who can no longer keep their dogs for any reason.  Some of the adults on this page do not live here, but I will have personally met the dog and evaluated it unless otherwise stated.  Some will come here and stay long enough for us to determine the correct home type that would be best for them.  Please feel free to ask about any of the the dogs on this page.  I will be more than happy to answer all the questions, and can help you choose the dog that will best suit you.  We try very hard to assess each dog's needs and place it in the right home, so please be honest.  The fee requested goes back into the rescue fund to help cover this dog's expense, or the next one.  It is people like you that really make the difference.  Thank you to all who have and will offer to give good homes to these dogs!

 * Please help with these adults needing a good home * 

 It is hard for me to say no to someone that asks if I can help them find a new home for a pet they can no longer keep.  In time I am somewhat overwhelmed with dogs that I can not keep up with.  Please help me find homes for these dogs. 

1)They will all come in the best of health and vet checked.

2) I am prepared to make sure that each dog is matched personality wise to the right person.  Please be honest about your intentions so everyone ends up happy.

3) Each dog can be spayed or neutered if requested for the vet fee, will have teeth cleaned if necessary, and will be up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives before leaving.

4) They will go with anything that belongs to them, collar, blanket, toys, food, as well as vaccination record and groomed.

 Nelly is a flashy little salt n pepper born 7-8-05.  She has a beautiful super soft, thick coat.  Playing in the yard in this pic and needs to be brushed, but is a beautiful little dog.  This girl has a very sweet and quiet natured personality.  She gets along with all of our other dogs and is a very easy keeper.  She is doggie door trained, and up to date on her vaccinations, but hasnt been spayed.  Nelly is about 11" tall and weighs about 12 lbs.  She is ACA registered.

Nelly is a sweet little girl from a kennel dispersal.  She is very well socialized, and gets along with other dogs.  She has learned her name and comes when called.  Still comes to be picked up, but is still a little stiff doing it.  Nelly is quiet natured and very gentle, but is not shy.  She has a good nature and wants attention.  She will make a very nice pet for someone retired, or a family with older children and other pets.  Havent tried her with small children yet, so not sure yet if she will be afraid of them or not.   She has no bad habbits and is a very easy keeper.  Havent rtied to leash train her yet, but Im sure will be no problem.   Ask about how you can make little Nelly part of your family... info.toysinthegarden@yahoo.com

Fancy is a large toy salt n pepper girl born July 4th, 2007.  What an awesome birthdate!  She is about 10.5" tall and about 10 lbs.  She is super sweet, and a very smart girl.  Very happy and active, loves to play.  She is doggie door trained and minds very well.  She loves attention, and gives lots of kisses.  Will do anything as long as she is getting attention.  She will make a great pet for any family type, or individual.  Gets along very well with our other dogs.

 Fancy has had one litter of 6 for her former owner, and was a good mother.  She has come in season and is bred to Bullet.  She will be due March 29th, and available to go home after May 10th.

Fashion Brussels Griffon in her new home!

This adorable little smooth coat Brussels Griffon was part of a kennel dispersal, and has found a new home.  She has cropped ears, super sweet personality, and is now part of a very happy little family of Brussels.
